Ceradis & BioMosae Sign Collaboration agreement to Accelerate the Development of Microbial derived Crop Protection Products
Wageningen, June 1, 2021 — Ceradis and BioMosae today announced a collaboration which aims to provide farmers with organic fungicide products based on a novel microbial-derived active ingredient.
Ceradis develops and sells innovative environmental friendly products for crop protection & plant nutrition. Ceradis has developed several technologies that enable higher performance and better delivery of active ingredients.
BioMosae develops Canto®, a biological active ingredient based on extracts of a proprietary strain of BioMosae.
The agreement’s goal is to deliver new, next generation organic fungicide products to farmers as a full alternative to chemicals in line with Ceradis’ goal of delivering ‘biologicals without compromises’. This will enable farmers to protect their crops with organic products, while reducing the rate of chemicals used per hectare of farmland and lowering residues on the crop.
The cooperation will accelerate BioMosae’s aim to develop and commercialize new biologicals based on Canto® and Ceradis’ mission to help farmers feed the world sustainably.
