BioMosae is a discovery company for the development of active ingredients for biocontrols & biostimulants, based on microorganisms. The technology platform is based on proprietary bacterial strains and expertise how to optimize process conditions for these strains to produce biological active substances for application in agro industry.
BioMosae has established a bacterial library, containing numerous bacterial strains collected from all over Europe. To date BioMosae has identified a number of promising, novel active ingredients for various biofungicides and biostimulant products for both foliar- as well as seed application products.
The company evolved a streamlined approach for the discovery and identification of novel AI’s by chaining multidisciplinary and complementary methodologies. By combining fields of expertise from biotechnology, microbiology, proteomics and analytical chemistry, the approach was successfully employed for the discovery of novel bacterial AI with antifungal effects.
Currently, BioMosae B.V. is integrating this approach to intensify the development of additional PPP and consequently accelerating the market entrance of highly desired and innovative biological products. In addition, BioMosae B.V. aims to make this methodology available as a service for other agro-companies from similar fields of operation.
